DONATE TO OAKRIDGE KEG & CASK FESTIVAL
Oakridge Keg & Cask Festival is the largest fundraiser of the summer organized by the UWCDC (Upper Willamette Community Development Corporation) to supply needed funds for the operation of the Oakridge Food Box program.
Your thoughtful donation helps support the UWCDC’s efforts to provide food to families in our community who are not always able to put food on the table.
According to our latest annual data for 2023 the Oakridge Food Box program helped:
- 1,240 individuals
- 659 households
- 24% of the individuals served are youth ages 0-20
- 28% of the individuals served are seniors 55 and older
The Food Box provided 200,000 pounds of free food to over 1,200 people for Oakridge and Westfir communities, nearly a quarter of those are children.
The UWCDC partners with Food for Lane County and operates with grant funds from Lane County Health & Human Services and United Way of Lane County.
Local organizations, churches, and individuals also provide donations to help fill the Food Box’s ever-increasing need.
