Surrounded by the Willamette National Forest, Oakridge sits elegantly in the largest stand of Douglas Fir in the world. Complemented by more than 500 miles of maintained trails for hiking, biking, and running, the entire community is hemmed in by lakes, creeks, streams, and waterfalls.
Water enthusiasts can boat, float, fish, ski, canoe, and kayak, wade in some of Oregon’s most pristine waters in and along the Middle Fork and North Fork of the mighty Willamette and Hills Creek Reservoir. Wet your whistle on nature, then come on down to the Oakridge Keg & Cask.
There are also two 18-hole disc golf courses, one at the Old Mill and one at the Office Bridge in Westfir, Oregon.
